Kitty: Okay, let’s get started. Let’s first start off with a little information about yourself. Let the people know who you are and what you represent?

Bank Hank: Okay I go by Bank Hank. I’m an artist from Niagara Falls Ny. I represent the Clean East which is an enterprise.

Kitty: Ok, so the ‘Clean East’ , is that a certain part of Niagara Falls?

Bank Hank: It’s more of a lifestyle. When you part of the clean east, you live different, eat different, dress different and think different. It’s more so a life than a region but we from the east as well.

Kitty: So ‘Clean East’ is a lifestyle? I like that. So are you an independent artist or is there a label you rock with?

Bank Hank: I’m signed to an independent label, Clean East Ent. And I also have a deal with Schmoney Records which is Rowdy Rebel’s independent label.

Kitty: Ok, that’s fire! So is there anything you want to achieve as an artist?

Bank Hank: Yeah, I want to make a platform for upstate New York and have Niagara Falls more main stream , put some light on the city.

Kitty: OK, that’s great. That’s great. I love to hear things like that. I do see like a lot of entrepreneurs and artists trying to emerge from small cities like Niagara Falls and I know they have a little bit of difficulty sometimes, however some are successful! What obstacles do you feel like you face as an artist trying to emerge from a city like Niagara Falls?

Bank Hank: I just feel like since the population so small, it’s tougher to reach certain audiences.

Kitty: Yes, I do agree that it can be pretty tough to reach certain audiences when you’re coming from a smaller city, so it does require a lot more work and strategy to be able to reach broader audiences. Is there anyone that you anticipate on working with or want to work with?

Bank Hank: Yeah I just did songs with Buffalo’s own Benny the Butcher , Baby Seem & also Jrey Cash but I look forward to a West Side Gunn feature.

Kitty: So I see you have been putting in some work around here, who or what is your biggest motivation?

Bank Hank: Na I would say prolly the guys. I know millionaires that ain’t rappers like Percy & Cuz.

Kitty: I can definitely respect that! So do you have any projects out that you want the people to know about? Anything coming up?

Bank Hank: Yeah I just released an EP li grabba with features from Benny the Butcher Baby Seem and more of Buffalo’s own.

Kitty: And where can the people find your music?

Bank Hank: Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube.

Kitty: Dope. Last question, who won in the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef in your opinion and why?

Bank Hank: I think they both won shit they both got paid at the end of the day and it was cool. I like the competition.
